Lake Pleasant/Country Village
The Lake Pleasant/Country Village Neighborhood is located in both the King and Snohomish County portions of Bothell, along the wooded and winding portion of the Bothell-Everett Highway between the Downtown and Canyon Park retail/service/employment centers.
A number of commercial uses, varying greatly in type and intensity, occupy the region. The commercial uses range from small retail shops, to service businesses. Many of these are located in Country Village, an outdoor shopping center. There is a limited amount of residential development, including single family residences multi-family residential complexes, an RV park on Lake Pleasant, and the Friends of Youth group living facility.
There are no schools within this area, but there are several schools in the surrounding Neighborhoods.
Parks and Open Space
There is one public park located within the Subarea. The park, acquired in 2004, covers approximately 4.7 acres and is located in the 20300 block of the Bothell-Everett Highway. The Park also contains wetlands, a portion of the headwaters of Horse Creek, and sloped areas. The presence of these environmentally critical areas may limit the type of activities which may be planned for this park. Critical areas, which exist in numerous locations within the Subarea, will be preserved as open space in accordance with the City's Critical Area Ordinance.
